Statistics Tracking allows instructors to review content item specific statistics. When Statistics Tracking is enabled instructors are provided with detailed usage information about how many times a content item was viewed or accessed. You can enable statistics tracking at any time and data collecting will begin immediately. However, if users access content before statistics tracking is enabled their access is not recorded.

Important Note: You can also set Statistics Tracking On or Off when you create a content item (folder, item, blank page, etc.) by selecting Yes or No for Track Number of Views.

  • Set Edit Mode to ON
  • Navigate to a content item that you want to enable/disable Statistics Tracking for
  • Select the Down arrow next to the title of a content item
  • Select Statistics Tracking (On/Off)
  • Statistics Tracking
    • Select On to enable and Off to disable
  • Select Submit
