Who Can I enroll in My “Live” Course?


 Who can I enroll in My Development Course Shells (“Z” areas)?

  • Any HVCC faculty/staff member
  • Do Not enroll students into your development area(s)

Enroll an Additional User in a Course

  • From the Control Panel in a course
  • Select Users and Groups

  • Select Find Users to Enroll

  • Enroll Users and Specify Teaching Assistant Role
    • Username: enter the username of the HVCC faculty/staff  person you want to add (ex. j.smith)
    • Role: select Teaching Assistant from the drop down menu
      • Important Note: If you select Instructor status for observations you will not be able to remove the user yourself. The Teaching Assistant role allows Department Chairs to see what they need to for observations. If you add the user as an Instructor, please contact DLhelp@hvcc.edu for assistance with removing your Department Chair
    • Enrollment Availability: Confirm that Yes is selected. If not, select Yes.
  • Select Submit

Removing Additional User

This action is irreversible.

  • From the Control Panel in a course
  • Select Users and Groups
  • Select Users
  • Select the check the box next to the Faculty/Staff username (j.smith) you want to remove
  • Select the Remove Users from Course button

  • A confirmation pop-up message appears, to continue deletion select OK, to end deletion select Cancel
  • A green confirmation bar appears: “Success: Enrollment deleted.
