  • From the Control Panel
  • Select Grade Center
  • Select Full Grade Center
  • Navigate to the Journal column you want to grade
  • Hover your cursor over the desired cell
  • Select the Down Arrow to open the menu
  • Select View Grade Details
  • Select Grade User Activity
  • From the Journal Grade box (located on the right-hand side of screen)
    • Select Edit Grade
    • Enter a grade in the Current Grade Value field
      • To grade using a Rubric:
        • Locate Associated Rubrics: and select the Rubric listed
        • Choose rubric grading criteria
        • Enter a revised grade in the Change the number of points out of __ to: field
        • Enter additional Feedback in the Feedback field (displays to students)
          Important Note: Select the Text Editor button to compose detailed or formatted comments
        • Select Submit
    • Enter Feedback in the Feedback field (displays to students)
    • Enter Grading Notes in the Grading Notes field (displays only to instructor)
      Important Note: Select the Text Editor button to compose detailed or formatted comments
    • Select Save Grade
      Note: The grade and any feedback will then display in the Grade Center
  • To grade the next user: choose one of the following:
    • From the More Journals box, use either the Next User: or Previous User: arrows (< or >) or select another Student’s Name from the box
  • Select Exit to return to the Grade Details page
  • Select Return to Grade Center to exit the Grade Details page
