Wiki grading can be done through the Wiki or the Grade Center. Once grades are entered for a Wiki the grades are posted to the Grade Center.


  • From the Control Panel
  • Select Grade Center
  • Select Full Grade Center
  • Navigate to the Wiki column you want to grade
  • Hover your cursor over the desired cell
  • Select the Down Arrow to open the menu
  • Select View Grade Details
  • Select Grade User Activity
  • From the Participants Contributions page
  • Review student’s participation
    • Page Version column
      • Select a Student’s Name to view the version without annotated changes
    • User’s Modifications column
      • Select the name Compare to Version __ to compare the versions
      • The Page Comparison page appears
        • Review the Comparison Details and use the Legend to assist with reviewing changes
  • From the Wiki details Grade pane (located on the right-hand side of screen)
    • Enter a grade in the Grade text box field
      • To grade using a Rubric:
        Under Grade by Rubric click the rubric link to display the rubric in the task pane or click the view rubric in window view rubric in windowbutton.

        • Choose rubric grading criteria
        • If desired, enter a revised grade in the Change the number of points out of __ to: field
        • Enter Feedback in the Feedback field (displays to students)
        • Important Note: when grading in the rubric in a window you can select the Text Editor button to compose detailed or formatted comments in the feedback field
        • Select Save
        • Enter Grading Notes in the Grading Notes field (displays only to instructor)
          • Select Save Grade
          • Note: The grade and any feedback will then display in the Grade Center
        • To grade the next user: choose one of the following:
          • From the View Contributions By: box, use either the Next User: or Previous User: arrows (< or >) or select another Student’s Name from the box
        • Select the OK button to return to main Wiki page

        Locate Associated Rubrics: and select the Rubric listed

        • Choose rubric grading criteria
        • Enter a revised grade in the Change the number of points out of __ to: field
        • Enter additional Feedback in the Feedback field (displays to students)
          Important Note: Select the Text Editor button to compose detailed or formatted comments
        • Select Submit
    • Enter Feedback in the Feedback field (displays to students)
    • Enter Grading Notes in the Grading Notes field (displays only to instructor)
      Important Note: Select the Text Editor button to compose detailed or formatted comments
    • Select Save Grade
      Note: The grade and any feedback will then display in the Grade Center
  • To grade the next user: choose one of the following:
    • From the View Contributions By: box, use either the Next User: or Previous User: arrows (< or >) or select another Student’s Name from the box
  • Select the OK button to return to main Wiki page
