If a students Test submission fails and does not properly submit chances are their answers have been recorded. When this happens an instructor can submit the test on behalf of the student.

  • From the Control Panel
  • Select Grade Center
  • Select Full Grade Center
  • Navigate to the grade column for the test
  • Hover your cursor over the desired cell
  • From the cell, select the Down arrow to open the menu
  • Select the Attempt (date of attempt) from the menu
  • On the Grade Test page, select >> Test Information to expand the options panel
  • Review the students test attempt and the information provided for the test (date/time started and submitted, etc.)
  • Select the Submit Attempt button to submit on behalf of the student
    Note: you can also clear a test attempt from here and edit a test (for example a test question with the incorrect answer selected as the correct answer)
  • A confirmation pop-up message appears, to delete the attempt select OK, to end attempt deletion select Cancel
  • Make any changes to the test scoring (partial credit for example)
  • Enter any feedback in the Feedback to Learner field
  • Select Submit to save changes and return to the Grade Center
