Hello all Blackboard users,

The Blackboard upgrade is complete. When there is an upgrade all Courses and Banner Enrolled Organizations default to an “Unavailable” status.

If you had made your course available before the upgrade, you will need to make it available again.

Organizations that are enrolled by Banner Code (this would include most Academic Department Organizations) must be made available again by the Organization Leaders.

How to Make Courses and Organizations Available:

  •  From the Control Panel of your Course or Organization
  • Select Customization
  • Select Properties
  • Go to Set Availability
  • Make Course Available, select Yes
  • Select Submit
  • A green confirmation bar will appear indicating that the properties have been updated
